11/02/2010 – Jeovani Pantoja was honored by both the WHAC & NAIA as their Offensive Player of the Week in Men's Soccer.
Pantoja, a 5-9 senior forward from Grand Rapids, Mich., was instrumental in a 2-0 week and helping Aquinas clinch a share of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference regular-season championship. In the 5-0 win at Indiana Tech on October 27, he notched a pair of goals, including the game-winner. On October 30, Pantoja netted a hat-trick in the 4-3 win at Davenport, who was receiving votes in the latest poll. Pantoja's unassisted goal in the 96th minute was the game-winner in overtime. Jeo now holds the school career record in goals and points. In national statistics, he ranks second in the country in game-winning goals (7).
