The Saints used a touchdown and a field goal to jump out to an early 10-0 lead on the road at Marygrove. Aquinas rode 50% shooting in the first half to enter the locker room with a 43-20 advantage. The first twenty minutes of play were dominated by Kolin Kazen, who scored 14 points and grabbed eleven rebounds, in only 14 minutes of action.
