03/19/2014 – The women's lacrosse team scored nine out of the games first ten goals en route to a 20-6 road victory at Olivet. The Saints improved their record to 3-2 on the season, while the Comets opened their schedule with a home loss.
The Saints used a three-prong offensive attack to make quick work of the Comets. The trio of Abby Lux, Jennifer Adams and Alexandra Burns all contributed four goals a piece for the Saints. Meanwhile, Hannah Crosby recorded the most points as she scored three goals an assisted on four others. The Saints outshot Olivet 22-5 during the first 30 minutes of play.
The defense was anchored by Lucy Montanaro, who recorded seven saves on 13 shots on goal.
The Saints will now travel to Davenport (7-0, 3-0 WHAC) on Thursday to battle the Panthers at 2 p.m. in key WHAC showdown
