The victory improved the Saints record to 7-3 overall and to 5-2 in the WHAC, while the Warriors fell to 5-2 in league play and to 5-4 on the season. The two teams traded goals much of the first half with the Saints nursing a 11-10 lead at the halftime break. With temperatures in the mid-30's, the Saints and Warriors were eager to get back on the field and return to second half action. The see-saw contest continued with neither team able to secure a sustained run of goals. Trailing 17-16, the Saints dug deep and were able to find the equalizer off the stick of Alexa Burns. With overtime looming the Saints were able to forge ahead on a game winning goal by, star of the game, Hannah Crosby. The freshman from Henrietta, New York tallied seven goals and one assist on the afternoon. Hannah currently leads the team with 39 goals.

The Saints will return to the field on Thursday when they host Davenport (13-0, 8-0 WHAC) at 4 p.m.
