Ramey Named WHAC Player of the Year

04/29/2014 – After compiling a 26-3 record during her senior year, Lauren Ramey was named the WHAC Women's Tennis Player of the Year. Ramey, the most decorated female tennis player in Aquinas history, has now amassed over 100 wins for her career as a Saint.

Ramey was named First Team All-WHAC for her singles play and also was named to the First Team for doubles. Lauren teamed up with Rilie DuShane to win 11 of their 16 doubles matches.

Ariana Kabodian (6-13) and Daniela Fonseca Zuniga (5-8) were both honored by the WHAC as members of the Honorable Mention team for their singles play.

The Saints concluded their season with a 5-0 defeat to Davenport in the Regional Semifinal. Overall the Saints compiled a 13-11 record and a 2-2 mark in league play to finish third in the WHAC.
