07/16/2014 – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced that 1,290 programs have been named 2013-14 NAIA Scholar-Teams. For a team to be considered for the NAIA Scholar-Team award, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade-point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
Fourteen of the Saints athletic squads were honored by the NAIA. The women's golf team recorded the highest score in the school with an average G.P.A. of 3.45. Other sports who were honored included: Baseball, Women's Basketball, Men's & Women's Cross Country, Men's Golf, Men's & Women's Track & Field, Men's & Women's Soccer, Softball, Men's & Women's Tennis and Volleyball.
