Women's Soccer Falls to Grace

09/06/2010 – The women's soccer team will return home after three straight road losses, including Saturday's 4-2 loss at the hands of Grace. The Saints, who are seeking out their first win, will look to the upcoming homestand as a stepping stone to string some wins together.

The Saints exploded out of the gate, as Rebecca Underwood found the back of the net three minutes into the contest. After sitting out last season with an injury, Underwood seems primed for a big senior season. Underwood then netted her second goal of the game in the last minute of play. Courtney Havens and Jaime Tomaszewski were credited with assists on Underwood's goals. Unfortunately for Aquinas, Grace had put four goals in between Underwood's pair. In net, Monica Rischiotto saved nine of 13 shots on goal.

The homestand begins with a date with Spring Arbor on Wednesday starting at 4 p.m.
