Men's Golf Ties for 4th at WHAC Jamboree

09/09/2010 – The men's golf team tied for 4th out of eight schools at the first WHAC jamboree of the 2010 season. Stonewater Country Club was the venue as Davenport played host to the rest of the WHAC yesterday afternoon. On their home course the Panthers edged out Madonna by four strokes to stake an early claim on the WHAC championship. Cam Thomas of Davenport took home medalist honors as he fired a 69 to finish two under par for the day.

The Saints were led by freshman Patrick O'Brien who finished in a three way tie for seventh with a round of 74. Also factoring in to the scoring for the Saints were Andrew Kish (76), Alex Smith (79) and Mike Wolfe (82).

The Saints will return to the links on September 20 as Aquinas will compete at the New Balance Invitational at Klinger Lake Country Club.
