05/07/2011 – The women's softball team concluded their season with a 6-1 loss to Indiana Tech on day two of the WHAC Championships. The Warriors improved to 38-15 with the victory, while the Saints fell to 28-20 for the season.
The Saints fell behind early as Indiana Tech struck for a pair of runs in both the first and second inning. The Warriors added two more runs in the fifth to take a 6-0 advantage. The Saints scored their lone run in the top of the sixth on a single to centerfield by Rebecca Shineldecker. Warriors pitcher Sam Berrios controlled the game as she limited the Saints to one run on four hits.
Indiana Tech fell to Madonna in the next round of the tournament with the Crusaders then falling to Davenport in the Championship game.
