Saints Women's Tennis Coach Resigns

05/23/2011 – Gerry Adams, veteran women's tennis coach at Aquinas College, has announced his resignation from that position effective immediately. Adams, who led the Saints' women's tennis program for nine seasons, cited expanding personal business interests and family responsibilities as reasons for his decision.

Under Coach Adams the Saints' netters advanced to the regional finals on several occasions but never qualified for the NAIA National meet. Athletic Director Terry Bocian stated "I thank Gerry both personally and on behalf of the College for solidifying the women's tennis program under his leadership. He always represented his program and the College with solid guidance and professionalism. We wish him well in all of his future endeavors."
