Saints Shutout #20 Indiana Wesleyan

09/25/2011 – The women's soccer team recorded its fifth straight victory as the Saints shutout the nationally ranked Wildcats 6-0. Aquinas improves its record to 8-3 with the victory, while Indiana Wesleyan falls to 5-4 on the season.

The duo of Jaime Tomaszewski and Melissa Hogan provided the offense, while the Aquinas defense recorded its fifth straight shutout. Tomaszewski who scored goals in the 13th, 36th, 43rd and 58th minute know has ten goals on the season (seven of them coming in the last two games). Melissa Hogan, who has scored six goals this season, started and ended the scoring barrage with a pair of goals in the 5th and 70th minute.

Kelsey Duley, who has won back-to-back Player of the Week Awards, was credited with the win and three saves. The Saints will return to action on Saturday with a road tilt at Rochester College (6-5).
