Saints Place Second at Knight Invitational

09/18/2010 – The men's cross country team placed second out of 15 schools at the Knight Invitational hosted by Calvin College. The Saints, who are currently ranked sixth nationally in the latest NAIA coaches poll, were only defeated by Calvin College.

Juniors Dustin Heiler (25:46) and Devin Lea (25:50) led the charge for the Saints as they both recorded top ten finishes. The top five was solidified by the performances of Mike Morgan (17th), Nate Poirier (18th) and Mike Gravelyn (21st). Rounding on the top seven for the Saints on this day was Kolin Stickney (48th) and Dan Foley (54th).

Aquinas will return to action on October 2nd as they travel to Chicago to compete in the Sean Earl Invitational hosted by Loyola University.
