Aquinas Takes Control of the WHAC

10/16/2011 – The women's soccer team remains undefeated in conference play with a shutout win over Siena Heights. The victory improves the Saints record to 12-3 overall and 3-0 in league play, while Siena drops to 6-7 on the season and are now 2-1 in the WHAC.

With first place in the league on the line, Aquinas responded with an impressive showing against the Saints from Siena. The victory elevates Aquinas to the top of the standings with three league games to play. Lauren McFall was responsible for the lone goal of the game. McFall's goal was initiated by a corner kick by Maggie Kieffer in the 39th minute. Kelsey Duley stopped all five shots on goal to record the shutout for the Saints.

The Saints will look for their tenth win in a row on Wednesday as they host Indiana Tech (9-5-1, 2-1 WHAC) at 4 p.m.
