09/18/2010 – The men's soccer team continues to string wins together as the Saints defeated Indiana Wesleyan for their seventh straight victory. The Saints concluded the weekend with an overall record of 7-1, while the loss drops the Wildcats to 2-5 on the season.

Goalie Jesse Guevara-Lehker came up big for the Saints as he was credited with the victory and stopped all seven shots on goal. Senior Jeovani Pantoja continued his strong play of late as he found the back of the net first for the Saints in the 17th minute. Pantoja was set up on the play by teammate Ruben Ornelas-Luna. Later in the game it was Ornelas-Luna's turn as he converted a penalty kick to give the Saints the 2-0 shutout victory.

Aquinas will return to action on Wednesday as they travel to St. Xavier (4-2) to clash with the Cougars.
