10/20/2011 – The women's soccer team extended their winning streak to ten as the Saints shut out Indiana Tech 2-0. The victory keeps the Saints perfect in the league at 4-0 and improves their overall record to 13-3. Meanwhile the Warriors fall to 9-6-1 on the season and 2-2 in the WHAC.
Wind, rain, and cool temperatures could not slow down the high powered Saints as they continue to drive toward the WHAC Championship. Melissa Hogan scored her ninth goal of the season during the 16th minute of play on a set up by Elizabeth Vaughan. Jamie Tomaszewski concluded the scoring for the Saints as she notched her league leading 15th goal during 84th minute of play. Maggie Keiffer was credited with the assist on Tomaszewski's goal. The Saints out shot the Warriors 27-10 and Kelsey Duley recorded four saves in net for Aquinas.
The Saints will return to action on Saturday as they travel to Livonia to battle Madonna (6-6-1, 1-2-1 WHAC).
