10/27/2011 – The women's volleyball traveled to Livonia and was defeated by Madonna in three sets to snap their four game winning streak. The victory improves the Crusaders record to 26-7 on the season and 6-1 in league play, while the Saints fall to 20-10 on the year and are now 5-3 in the WHAC.
The pivotal WHAC match-up proved to be very one sided as the host Crusaders seized control early and made quick work of the Saints (25-13, 25-17, and 25-12). The Saints received ten kills from Allison Griffiths, while Jessica Bredeweg assisted on 13 plays. Sarah LeClair led the Saints with eight digs and senior Chelsea Phillips recorded four blocks.
