10/27/2011 – The men's and women's cross country teams both made jumps in the national rankings after their performances at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge. The women's team made the biggest jump of the week as the Saints went from #24 to #18 after their fourth place finish on Saturday.
The men's team cracked the top ten as Aquinas signs in at #9 this week, three spots up from the previous poll. Currently the men's cross country team owns the longest active Top 25 ranking streak in the country. The Saints have spent 113 consecutive weeks in the poll dating back to September of 2000.
The Saints will return to action on November 5th when they will take part in the WHAC Championships at Riverside Park.
