Women's Cross Country Moves Up Six Spots

09/24/2010 – The women's cross country team climbed to the #15 spot in this week's NAIA coach's poll. The men's team dropped from 6th to 8th after the Calvin Knight Invitational.

The Aquinas women saw the biggest jump in the national rankings this week as they improved from being ranked 21st to 15th in the nation. The trio of Rachael Steil, Katy Cramer and Alina Dhaseleer led the Saints with a strong 3rd place showing at the Knight Invitational.

The men's team saw a two place drop, from sixth to eighth, after the Saints second place finish at the Knight Invitational. Dustin Heiler, Devin Lea and Mike Morgan will look to keep the Saints in the top ten as they will travel to Chicago next weekend to compete in the Sean Earl Invitational hosted by Loyola University.
