Saints Finish Tied for Fifth at WHAC Jamboree

09/26/2010 – The men's golf team tied for fifth out of eight schools at the second WHAC jamboree of the 2010 season. Fellows Creek Golf Course was the venue as Madonna played host to the rest of the WHAC yesterday afternoon. On their home course the Crusaders defeated Indiana Tech by 13 strokes. Vince Carango of Madonna and Mike Kasperski of Indiana Tech shared medalist honors as they fired a 71 to finish one under par for the day.

The Saints were led by freshman Patrick O'Brien who finished in a two way tie for seventh with a round of 74. Also factoring into the scoring for the Saints were Max Rouse (77), Mike Wolfe (79) and Alex Smith (80).

The Saints will return to the links on September 27 as Aquinas will compete at the WHAC Jamboree #3 at Quail Ridge Golf Course.
