03/28/2012 – The women's lacrosse team defeated cross town rival Davenport 17-5 in an all important NWLL tilt. The victory improved the Saints record to 6-4 on the season and to 4-2 in league play, while the Panthers slip to 5-5 overall and to 2-5 in the NWLL.
The Saints offense was keyed by the seven goal performance of Hannah Brogger. Brogger now leads the NWLL in overall points this season with 59. Kati Rogers reached a historic milestone by scoring her 300th point in an Aquinas uniform. Rogers is the first Aquinas lacrosse player (either male or female) to achieve this feat.
The Saints will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Fort Wayne to battle the Warriors of Indiana Tech (6-3, 6-1 NWLL).
