Roe Named WHAC Player of the Week

04/25/2012 – Jake Roe led the Saints to a 6-2 week to earn the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week.

A senior from Jenison, Roe hit safely in all seven games in which he played for the Saints after sitting out a loss against Hope. The catcher was 15-for-30 from the plate for a batting average of .500 and had a slugging average of .600. Roe scored six times, drove in nine runs and was 1-for-2 in stolen bases as Aquinas (23-25) split with Hope, split with Purdue North Central and swept a four-game series with Lourdes.
