03/18/2013 – Nik Artaev was honored by the WHAC for his play in Aquinas' victory over Grand Valley State last week.
Artaev teamed up with Aaron Hendrick to score a victory at #1 doubles (8-2). Nik came back in #3 singles and defeated Bryan Hodges 5-7, 6-2 and 7-6. The Saints defeated the Lakers 5-4.
Overall Artaev is 9-3 in his doubles matches and 7-4 in singles play for the ninth-ranked Saints. Artaev and his teammates will resume play with a home date versus Albion on Wednesday. |
