The Saints notched a 10-1 victory in game one on Saturday. A six run ninth capped off a solid offensive showing by Aquinas. Elliot Drain paced the offense with two hits and three RBI's, while Brendan Penny was awarded the victory in his six innings of work. Penny struck out seven and allowed three earned runs on four hits. Tyler Cole picked up his first save of the year as he closed the door on the Gray Wolves in the bottom of the seventh.

The Saints would complete the sweep by defeating Lourdes 13-2 in seven innings. Kevin Schafer improved to 2-0 on the season as the lefty allowed one earned run and one hit in five innings of work. Michael Penny, Kyle Orlowski, Nick Kissane and Austin King all tallied two hits, while Josh Drake collected three RBI's on a bases clearing double in the fifth.
