Men's Lacrosse Falls in WHAC Tournament Game

03/30/2013 – The men's lacrosse team was shutout by Siena Heights 8-0 in the third place game of the 2013 WHAC Tournament held in Adrian. The victory improved Siena's record to 4-2, while the Saints of Aquinas fell to 3-6 overall. The tournament was seeded by a pool play session back in October. Davenport defeated Indiana Tech in the championship game, while UM Dearborn outlasted Lawrence Tech 12-9 for fifth place.

Siena Heights' defense combined with Spencer Macek's six goals proved to be the difference in the battle of the Saints. Aquinas had no answer for Macek, while their offense was handcuffed all game by Siena.

The Saints will return to action with a road date at Grand Valley State (2-5) on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
