04/14/2013 – The men's lacrosse team picked up a victory over UM Dearborn. The match was contested at Groves High School. The win improved the Saints record to 5-8 on the season, while the Wolves fell to 5-5 overall.
Despite falling behind early, the Saints used a strong second half to propel them to their second consecutive win. Trailing 5-3 at the half, Aquinas outscored the Wolves 6-3 over the games final 30 minutes. The Saints offense was keyed by Kyle Foley and Ryan Ruschmann, both of whom tallied two goals a piece. Aquinas leading scorer, Zack Brancheau, was credited with three assists on the day. Jimmy Watt was awarded the victory as he recorded 14 saves in net.
The Saints will return to action with a home date with Ferris State on Tuesday.
