Saints Finish 2nd at NAIA Great Lakes Challenge

10/24/2010 – The men's cross country team finished in 2nd place at the highly competitive NAIA Great Lakes Challenge. The Saints were defeated by the second ranked team in the country, Shawnee State, on an absolute great day for racing.

The trio of Dustin Heiler, Mike Gravelyn and Devin Lea led the charge for the Saints as all three finished in the top fifteen of the race. Heiler (24:52), Gravelyn (25:00) and Lea (25:17) all recorded personal best times for the Saints. Nate Poirier (25:41) and Kolin Stickney (25:49) rounded out the scoring for the Saints. The performance was the 4th fastest team time in school history and best since the 2007 season.

The Saints will next compete at the WHAC Championships at Riverside Park on November 6th.
