Saints Seventh at WHAC Golf Jamboree #2

09/19/2013 – The men's golf team placed seventh at the second WHAC Jamboree of the season. The ten teams squared off at The Highlands in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The event was hosted by Aquinas College.

Northwestern Ohio claimed the team title by finishing three strokes in front of Davenport. The Racers, Keith Long (67), won the individual title by five strokes. Aquinas shot a total of 318 strokes (+29) and was led by Patrick O'Brien who shot a two over (73) to place 8th overall. Other Saints that factored into the team score were Austin King (79 - 28th place), Cody Britton (80 - 32nd place) and Steven Ophoff (31 - 34th place).

The Saints will return to action next week as they compete in the third jamboree of the season hosted by Indiana Tech and Northwestern Ohio. The two-day tournament will begin on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
