Saints Fourth at WHAC Golf Jamboree #1

09/21/2013 – The women's golf team placed fourth at the first WHAC Jamboree of the season. The nine teams competed at the Lenawee Country Club in Adrian, Michigan. The event was hosted by Siena Heights University.

Indiana Tech claimed the team title by finishing two strokes in front of Madonna. The Warriors, Wiebke Schlender (80), tied for the individual title with Brooke Darah of Lourdes. Aquinas shot a total of 356 strokes (+72) and was led by Valerie Muyskens who shot an 85 to place 6th overall. Other Saints that factored into the team score were Alicia Flood (89 - 14th place), Kristina Raiz (91 - 21st place) and Paige Watkins (91 - 21st place).

The Saints will return to action next Saturday as they host the second jamboree of the season at Scott Lake Country Club. The homecoming weekend tournament will begin Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
