| Aquinas College’s Emergency Response Plan was developed to ensure the safety of all faculty, staff, students and visitors in the event of an emergency situation on or near campus. It is essential that college community members familiarize themselves with the procedures in this plan and prepare to follow these protocols when needed. Together, we share a responsibility to maintain a safe and secure campus. |

| At a minimum campus community members should: |
| Be familiar with how to contact the Campus Safety Department |
- In an EMERGENCY, dial ext. 3333 (on-campus phone) or pick up a RED direct dial emergency phone located in several areas throughout the campus.
- Dial (616) 632-2462 (off-campus or cell phone)
- Non-Emergency dial ext. 2462 (on-campus phone) or dial (616) 632-2462 (cell phone or off-campus)

| Be familiar with the location of the Campus Safety Department |
- The Campus Safety Department is located in the Campus Safety building at the west side of the Wege Center parking lot. Campus Safety is open 24-hours a day, seven-days-a-week, 365 days a year.

| Always be familiar with your location. |
- Know and read the building evacuation plans that are posted in all hallways and classrooms. Be familiar with the quickest exit route and have a secondary plan in case the first is not available.

| Know the location of life saving supplies like telephones, first aid materials and AED defibrillators. |
