ALCOHOL AND DRUG POLICY

Aquinas College complies with federal, state, and local laws including those which regulate the possession, use, and sale of alcoholic beverages and controlled substances. Additionally, the College complies with all regulations of the "Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988" and the "Drug Free Schools and Communities Act Amendment of 1989."

The following activities are prohibited on College premises or at College-sponsored activities:

The Student Handbook/Calendar details offenses and sanctions for students including probation, suspension, or dismissal from the College for such acts.

The Aquinas College Career and Counseling Services Center provides assessment and assistance to students during mental health emergencies. Educational programs addressing alcohol and drug-related issues are co-sponsored by the Residence Life Department, Department of Campus Safety, Student Health Center, Campus Ministry Department, College Career and Counseling Services Center, and various student organizations.
