To use your computer on AQnet, you must first set up your operating system. Below we have provided instructions for configuring Red Hat Linux. If you are using another distribution of Linux, please consult that distribution's instructions. When you are ready to configure Linux for AQnet, follow the steps below.
- As the user root, run the command setup
- Select Network Configuration and then select Run Tool
- Select Yes to set up networking
- Select Use Dynamic IP Configuration
- Select OK
- Select Quit
