To ensure current virus protection, follow the instructions below to set up Norton AntiVirus to run LiveUpdate automatically. 

1. Click on the Start menu and then on Control Panel
2. Double-click on Symantec LiveUpdate
   
3. Select Express Mode, select I Want LiveUpdate to Start Automatically, and then check Enable Enhanced Error Support
   
4. Select the HTTP tab and then select I Want to Customize my HTTP Settings for LiveUpdate.  Under HTTP Proxy Settings, check I Do Not Use a Proxy Server for HTTP
   
5. Click OK in the LiveUpdate Configuration window

Note: When running LiveUpdate, it is recommended that you download all available updates and virus definitions.
