Thunderbird is a free, open-source e-mail application which runs on Windows and Mac. You may download a copy from mozilla.org. Follow the directions below to configure Thunderbird for SMTP use on AQnet.
- Open Thunderbird and click on Tools and then Account Settings
- From the menu on the left, select Outgoing Server SMTP
- For Server Name, enter smtp.aquinas.edu and for Port enter 25, as shown below. Then enter your ELM username and select No for use secure connection
- Click OK - You will be prompted for your ELM password when sending e-mail.
