Jackie Sweeney, Director of the Aquinas Reading Clinic , is an assistant professor of teacher education with interests in preparing culturally-sensitive teachers for work within culturally diverse settings. She also has an interest in digital literacy embedded within literacy instruction. Her teaching experiences have included classrooms in Michigan, Indiana, California and Maryland. She is currently a third-year doctoral student within the Teacher Education program at Michigan State University and is working on the production of video cases related to literacy.
