A minor in Japanese may be obtained by completing 21 credit hours, exclusive of JE101. The student must have, at graduation time, a cumulative G.P.A. of C+ (2.3) or higher in those courses used to fulfill the minor requirement.
Completing all Japanese courses (102 - 302) will provide students with a total of 19 credit hours. The other two credit hours may be obtained by taking "Japanese Economic History (ES317)," "Readings in Japanese Language (JE398)," or "Independent Project (JE399)." The topics of "Independent Project" include Calligraphy and Tea Ceremony. |
