In Remembrance: Dr. Mary Orlicki
January 19, 1956 - October 11, 2007
 
 
Dr. Mary Orlicki Dr. Mary E. Orlicki was born in Detroit, and earned her Ph.D. from Michigan State University. Before joining the Aquinas faculty in 2002, she taught, studied and traveled extensively throughout the Spanish-speaking world. During her time at Aquinas, Mary was awarded the Michigan Campus Compact Service Learning Award, as well as being named AQ Woman of the Year. She leaves behind her husband, Paul Emery, children Angelica Leone and Benito Vena, and brothers David and Thomas Orlicki.
