About author Liesel Litzenburger: |
- Liesel grew up in Harbor Springs, Michigan, and currently lives in the Grand Rapids area
- Her stories and essays have appeared in magazines, journals, and anthologies
- She has taught writing at several colleges and universities, including the University of Michigan, New College, and the Interlochen Arts Academy
- Liesel is the recipient of awards and residencies from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, Yaddo, and the MacDowell Colony
- Published works include: The Widower, Shaye Areheart Books/Random House (New York, NY), 2006; Now You Love Me, Random House/Three Rivers Press, 2007

- Linda Hogan has written a documentary narrative about the history of American Indian Religious Freedom, Everything Has A Spirit, seen on PBS.
- Hogan was honored by her tribe as one of the"Heroes and Dreamers and has recorded, in her voice, a piece of writing for the collection of materials. She is also a recipient of the Spirit of the West award.

About playwright George Brant: |
- Currently in his final year as a Playwriting Fellow at the James A. Michener Center
- His work has been produced in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and Austin.
- His plays have been selected for the Prop Thtr New Play Festival, the Circle Theatre New Play Festival and the WordBRIDGE Playwright's Lab.
- His plays have been finalists for the Clauder Competition, the Bay Area Playwright's Festival, the Hangar Theatre Lab, the Herrick Theatre Foundation's New Play Competition and the Keene Prize for Literature
- Elephant's Graveyard, another play by George Brant, is the true tale of the tragic collision of a struggling circus and a tiny town in Tennessee during 1916.
- His play Any Other Name will be performed by AQ Theatre during the spring 2010 semester: A dark comedy (or light tragedy) about identity theft in Victorian England. Also, it was workshopped at Trinity Repertory Company, WordBRIDGE Playwrights Lab, and Shakespeare at Clark Park .
