- American Presidency Project is one of the most comprehensive sources on the US presidency; includes public papers, executive orders, proclamations and addresses as well as data from elections, approval ratings and congressional activity.
- FactCheck.org Sponsored by the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania, this site holds government accountable by analyzing political utterances, speeches, and campaign ads for misleading statements and misuse of facts.

- Liberty Fund - Online Library of Liberty provides full text access to over 1200 classic books on democratic political theory, philosophy, history, war, liberalism, conservatism, and economics. Books are in HTML and PDF (Adobe Acrobat) formats.
- NNSP--National
Network of State Polls is a confederation of organizations
that conduct state-level surveys. The network promotes
the collection and use of state survey data. The NNSP
archive of state polls is the largest available collection
of state-level data. The site is sponsored by the
