Anne Parks
AQ senior Anne Parks said that she knew she wanted to come to Aquinas the moment she saw how many opportunities there were both inside and outside of the classroom. Through the sense of community at Aquinas, Parks believes she has found success both academically and personally.

Inspired by his parents to make a difference in the lives of others, AQ sophomore & biology major Evan Kowalski's goal is to become a physician's assistant. "I have this drive to be significant. I don’t like being just another member of the herd so to speak."

Brianna Scott
AQ senior Brianna Scott knew she belonged at Aquinas when she opened an AQ brochure that read "Open Your Mind and Say Ahh." "When I came for my first AQDay and I put my foot down, I was just - at home," she said. "I felt at home already, and I loved the trees. I was just so excited."

Devin Lea
When searching for potential colleges AQ senior Devin Lea remembers seeking out a community where he could belong. The geography major from Grand Ledge, Michigan, said that when he chose Aquinas he knew he had found that place.

Marissa McCorry
"Going to a school with thousands upon thousands of students, I can only imagine how difficult it would be to find staff members that care like they do at Aquinas," said AQ junior Marissa McCorry. "That is something that I will always appreciate - how much Aquinas takes care of their students."

Tyler Kalahar
“It didn’t occur to me that no one would be listening,” said AQ senior Tyler Kalahar remembering the first broadcast of AQSound. Kalahar can be credited with helping breath life back into AQSound, the Internet-streamed, on campus Aquinas radio station.

Molly Huth
AQ sophomore Molly Huth, who found Aquinas online, said that she was attracted to the strong sense of community. For Molly it was important to not just be a face in a classroom to professors, and not just a number on a piece of paper to admissions staff.

Jason Ardelean
For sophomore Jason Ardelean being a part of the nursing program has been a constant joy. "It’s the hardest thing I've ever done," he said relating how direct admissions to the UDM nursing program at Aquinas was a big draw for him along with AQ's small atmosphere and friendly community.

Nick Grady
"I just love it here. The friends are great. The people are awesome," said sophomore Nick Grady. "Aquinas does offer a lot of opportunities, even though it’s a smaller college. People think smaller college, less opportunities, and that’s not the fact. We still offer so many things here that people don’t realize."

Molly Pelak
"I knew I really wanted to do education when I was in high school," said sophomore Molly Pelak who is in her first year of the Aquinas teaching program. For Molly, being able to apply what she has learned through classes into her observation hours at St. Thomas the Apostle School has been a blast.

Nate McCorry
A dual major in accounting and finance, AQ senior Nate McCorry said that Aquinas has been a place that he has always enjoyed. With an older sister who is an alumnus and a younger sister who also attends Aquinas, the AQ community is a family affair for McCorry.
