Housing Process 2011 |

Freshmen students are housed in traditional residence halls designed to promote social interaction, and are staffed with individuals trained to work with freshmen and their specific adjustments. As students move from freshmen to sophomore year, they are housed in more independent living environments. Throughout this process they acquire certain responsibilities that help them develop into mature and responsible adults. This better prepares students for their eventual move off campus.

The Room Draw Process and Roommates
Each student will be given a Housing Score that is based on your start date, your GPA, judicial record, and any student account holds. Numbers will be called in order. If you are planning on living with roommates that have the same start date, you can sign up when the lowest number of the group is called. If you are living with people from multiple start dates, you will sign up with the latest start date number following Room Draw order.

Examples of Room Draw:
- Numbers 1, 4, and 15 would like to live in Dominican Hall. They all started college at Aquinas in 2010. Therefore, they can sign up for their room when number 1 is called.
- Numbers 7, 25, 65, and 74 would like to live in Apartment A. Numbers 7, 25, and 65 all started in fall 2010, but number 74 started in 2009. Therefore, the group would sign up to live in Apartment A when number 74 is called during the Fall 2009 Room Draw call, if it is available.
