Description of Services:
Aquinas students will travel to the Dominican Republic October 18-25, 2008 and spend one week working alongside members of Holy Spirit International Ministry, assisting them in their outreach ministry to the poorest of the Dominican Republic. Service projects will revolve around the needs of Holy Spirit International Ministry. Some tasks might include: painting a nutritional center, assisting with medical clinics and reforestation projects as well as experiencing the Dominican culture and getting to know the communities there.

Living Arrangements:
Students will be living in the lower level of Sister Roselyn’s home, which is fully furnished. The group prepares all meals, and there will be family dinners every night. There will also be group reflections to help process the different events and experiences.
