Schedule of Events Hotel Information for Families Family Friendly Activities in Grand Rapids
 
General Information:
  • All participants must be registered and will receive a wristband for the activities.
  • The Aquinas College student must also be a registered participant but will not incur a registration fee.
  • The registration fee for the first guest is $15. Each additional guest is $10. We are able to bill directly to your student account with your permission.
  • Otherwise, a check for full payment is required on or before October 10, 2014 at 5 p.m. to the Campus Life Office.
  • If you need to cancel for any reason before Wednesday, October 8, 2014, we will refund 50 % of the fee incurred. Requests must be made in writing to campuslife@aquinas.edu by 5 p.m. on October 8, 2014.

Join AQPB and Saints' Squad for face painting and snacks before the AQ Hockey Game!

Be ready to board the bus at 7:45 p.m. at the Fulton Lot.

Come root for the Aquinas College Hockey Team as they take on Indiana Tech in their home opener. This event will be a PINK OUT, so please wear pink if possible!

Take a trip to John Ball Zoo, be sure to check out the new Tiger Exhibit! Please register for this event (on event registration form) to receive tickets. Due to increased traffic in the city for the weekend, AQPB is providing and requiring all participants to utilize furnished transportation.

Be ready to get on the bus at 11:45 in the Fulton Lot (Sturrus Lot).

6 to 10 p.m. A Night in Nelson's Doghouse Join student organizations and volunteers as they celebrate Jr. Saints Weekend with Nelson, our AQ mascot! Inflatables, interactive games, and fun activities will help make memories with your Jr. Saint! AQPB Wege Second Floor

Hotel Information for Families

Residential students may house their guest on campus per the guidelines in Residence Life. Details on this are listed on the registration form.

 

If however, you find that you would like to spend the weekend in Grand Rapids and take a break while your children are together on campus, please enjoy a discounted rate at our preferred Jr. Saints Weekend hotel The Ramada Plaza Grand Rapids. A special Aquinas College rate of $79 is secured for this weekend. Please note that you should call the Grand Rapids location directly at (616) 949-9222, mention that you are visiting Aquinas College and would like the Aquinas rate in order to receive the discount associated with our campus. The front desk will take your reservation information and provide a confirmation number.
