RecycleMania 2009

Aquinas participated in RecycleMania 2009, a friendly competition and benchmarking tool for college and university recycling programs to promote waste reduction activities to their campus community.

Over a ten week period - January 18 through March 28 - Aquinas collected and reported waste and recycling data to the RecycleMania headquarters every single week. Our performance was compared and ranked with colleges and universities across the nation, based on statistics such as the percentage of our waste stream recycled, and our recycling rate per capita.
