  • Brookby Estate

The Brookby estate, a historical landmark, was built in 1927 by early Grand Rapids philanthropist, John W. Blodgett, Sr. The home, on the corner of Robinson Road and Plymouth, was built nearly 20 years after Aquinas’ Holmdene Manor which was the residence of Mr. Blodgett’s sister, Susan Blodgett Lowe. President Olivarez resides at Brookby and often utilizes the home and its grounds for College events. The gardens of the residence are located next to picturesque Fisk Lake.
