Internships and Mentoring

Internships and mentoring provide an excellent and cost effective way to support the Aquinas mission. These experiences prepare students for the post-graduation world. And companies benefit from the can-do attitude of Aquinas students.

In talking with corporate recruiters, several common themes emerge about Aquinas graduates. Most importantly, the students have tremendous enthusiasm and team-building skills. Corporate recruiters tell us that our graduates are top performers and exhibit leadership and business savvy. Aquinas students are encouraged our students to think creatively when solving problems and to identify solutions to keep companies on the cutting-edge.

Employers are under no obligation to offer permanent positions to their interns, but internships provide an excellent opportunity for organizations to get to know potential employees and determine if a student might be a good fit. These young men and women also bring a fresh perspective to the work environment.

If you would like to provide an internship or mentor an Aquinas student, please contact Dr. Ali Erhan, Director of Corporate Relations at (616) 632-2819. He will work with Career Services to create a win-win situation.

By offering internships and mentoring experiences to Aquinas students, your organization will be joining some of the most successful and dynamic firms in the country:
