Alumna Profile: Shannon Rinckey

Entrepreneur and AQ alumna Shannon Rinckey '02 drew on her education and personal experience as a mother to create Mama’s Got Mail, a monthly subscription service for moms. In April 2013, Rinckey took first place in a regional launch competition for her business idea.

Bishop Walter Hurley Retires

Appointed by Pope Benedict XVI, Bishop Walter A. Hurley has served as the pastoral and administrative head of the Grand Rapids Diocese since 2005. During this time of diocesan transition, Aquinas expresses deep gratitude for Hurley’s years of service, wishing him a blessed and peaceful retirement.

Student Profile: Michael Gagnon

After becoming one of the top finalists in the 2012 Aquinas Business Plan Competition, AQ senior Michael Gagnon decided to turn his plan from concept into reality. A math and international business major, Gagnon launched College Prep Soccer LLC in 2012 and is continuing to grow the program in summer 2013.
