O'Brien Shines at Final Jamboree

10/08/2013 – The men's golf team placed fifth at the fourth and final WHAC Jamboree of the season. The ten teams squared off at the Metamora Golf & Country Club in Metamora, Michigan. The event was hosted by Marygrove College.

Siena Heights claimed the team title by finishing eight strokes in front of Davenport. Siena's, Nicholas Campbell (72), won the individual title by one stroke. Aquinas shot a total of 316 strokes (+28) and was led by Patrick O'Brien who shot a one over (73) to place 2nd overall. Other Saints that factored into the team score were Cody Britton (76 - 8th place), Austin King (79 - 16th place) and Steven Ophoff (88 - 45th place).

Overall the Saints finished the fall season in seventh place in the league standings. Davenport won the overall team title for the fall and will host the spring tournament at the Stonewater Country Club.
