11/10/2013 – The women's soccer team concluded their season with a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Northwestern Ohio in one of two WHAC semi-final match-ups. The Racers improved to 15-5 on the season and advanced to the WHAC title match versus Davenport, while Aquinas finished the 2013 campaign with a mark of 12-6-1.
The Saints, who were defeated by a three goal margin the last time the two squads hooked up, were looking for payback and a trip to the WHAC title tilt. The match turned into a defensive struggle as neither team mustered a goal during the first 45 minutes.
The match's lone goal came during the 61st minute of play as Northwestern Ohio's Sarah Huchet scored an unassisted goal to give her 21 on the season. The Racers outshot the Saints 12-4. Molly O'Connor was credited with five saves in the defeat.
