Snikkers continued her education and playing career at Hope College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications in 2011. Carrie was a two year captain for her team and in addition to her three-time first team All-American accolades; she was the National Player of the Year her junior season. Upon graduation, Snikkers had a one year stint playing professionally in Spain for the Universatario de Ferrol team.
Carrie Snikkers comments, “I’ve always known Aquinas College had a successful women’s basketball program and I know a lot of the former players. Basketball has always played such a pivotal part in my life and it’s a new challenge for me to be on the sideline instead of running up and down the court. I’m excited to be on staff at Aquinas College and I’m beginning to feel more comfortable with the system they run. As a player I brought intensity to the game and I am looking forward to being a part of this hard working program.”
