Men's XC Places Second, Awaits At-Large Bid

11/06/2010 – The men's cross country team placed second to Siena Heights at the WHAC Championships contested at Riverside Park. The Saints will now wait to see if they will receive an at-large berth to the NAIA National Championships in two weeks.

Aquinas was led by the All-WHAC performances of Dustin Heiler (24:56) and Devin Lea (25:17). Heiler finished in third place, while Lea secured down the fifth spot. Mike Gravelyn was the third Saint to cross the line as he finished in eighth place with a time of 25:25. The next four Saints all turned in personal best performances as they rounded out the top seven for Aquinas. Jim Janisse (25:55) placed 14th, Dan Foley (25:57) placed 15th, Eddie Seymour (25:57) placed 16th and Grant Gunneson (26:00) placed 18th.
